Sariah's school had a holiday celebration day where each classroom did activities for different holidays. The themes for the classrooms were Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanuka, and La Posada. They got to learn the Mexican hat dance...I loved watching her do it. It brought back memories for me of all the time spent in Mexico growing up.
A great thing about December in Arizona is getting to play at the park and NOT be cold.
Our friends had snow brought in to play with on Christmas Eve though so we got the best of both worlds. (THANKS ECONOMOUS)
Don't mind the fact that Kenz is in flip flops playing in snow...she hated it! She does NOT like to be COLD!!!
Christmas time means the train and village under Papa's tree...the girls would sit and watch FOREVER!!!
Cookie decorating is always a favorite.
CHRISTMAS EVE
CHRISTMAS DAY
MESA TEMPLE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
One other thing to mention...Jovie the elf came this year. Sariah and Kenzli were SSSOOO excited to come out every morning and find her. She found some fun places to hide and made sure we remembered the reason for the season come Christmas Eve.
We hope you had a GREAT Christmas!!! (5 months ago)
