I'm a BIG girl now!

Okay...I'll admit it...I SERIOUSLY put off potty training Kenzli.  I originally said I would potty train once we moved.  Then, we moved and I put it off until Sariah started school.  Finally after Sariah had been in school for about a month, I finally just did it.  She was NOT as easy as Sariah but still did an awesome job.

I used the same method that I used with Sariah.  We started out the morning potty training her doll, Patty.
Once Patty had learned how to go potty, we threw her a party for being such a big girl.
Then, Kenzli gets her brand new panties and gets to start wearing them.
Once Sariah got home from school, they hung out in the bathroom waiting for Kenzli to figure it out.  Kenzli played my phone and ate sonic ice while Sariah danced and sang.  It was pretty fun!!!
We had Kenzli's big girl party the next day.  She was pretty excited.  She got her certificate for becoming potty trained and got to open a couple presents.
One of her presents was a pretend makeup set.  She had lots of fun putting makeup on Sariah...
Sariah wants so sure about it...
She also put eye shadow and lipstick on Daddy.

Park Time

The girls love any time that they get to spend with their dad.  He has such a crazy, busy schedule that he really tries to create memories with them.  So we all headed to the park to fly a kite...it is the simple things that create the best memories.

I know that I am completely biased but my girls are seriously such beautiful little girls.  I love their personalities and the joy they bring into my home.  I just wish time would slow down so that they would be my little girls longer.

Happy Happy Birthday, Kenzli Dear

Kenzli is THREE!!!  We got to spend the whole day as a family since it was a holiday.  She was so excited to open her presents.  She has totally gotten the hang of it...she is speedy...opens one and is right on to the next.  She loves unwrapping them.  She barely pauses to see what it is she opened.  It is too funny.

 New jammies
 Such concentration
 New strawberry shortcake dolls
Both girls now have "big momma" puppies
We went over to some friends house for a BBQ and celebrate her birthday there too.  She loved her cake.  She fell while playing and totally skinned her chin up.  But she is still totally freaking cute!!!

1st GRADE

I cannot believe that Sariah is already in first grade.  She is getting so grown up and just keeps getting cuter and cuter.
Sariah was kinda nervous with it being a new school but once she met her teacher at back to school night, she started to get excited to be back at school.  She LOVES school and learning.

Sariah is sporting a cute new haircut this year.  I love it but I miss her long hair.

Random Summer Fun

I thought I would sum up our summer into one post.  We really spend lots of time at home hanging out and adjusting to our new surroundings.  We also spent lots of time swimming with our friends but have no pictures to share of that.  Here is a recap of some of the fun stuff we did document!

There is a theater here that does summer movies that are free.  We only went once because the other movies didn't interest us.  I took Sariah and her friends and left Kenz at their house.  It was a great trade off.
Sariah experienced a high dive and LOVED it...she spent the next couple hours doing it over and over again...until she got a headache. :)
We spent lots of time with the sister missionaries.  My girls LOVE them...both of these sisters are now in new areas.  (Don't mind Kenz in her swim top...we had just gotten home from swimming)
Kenz is BUSY!  She decided she wanted something of the top of the fridge so she climbed right up.  She has no fear...good thing she is so cute!
Hours and hours of playdough fun!!!
One thing that I love about our house is the huge amount of concrete in the backyard.  It has provided tons of chalk paintings...
 and scooter and train riding.
Right before school started, we headed to the Botanical Gardens.  It is so pretty!
And my girls are so adorable!!!

And that was our summer.  It was fun but I was ready for school and routine again.

ZOO

Wednesday's are half price at the zoo so we took advantage and went with our friends.  It was lots of fun.  Be prepared for picture overload.

When we got home, we realized that it was free slurpee day at 7-11 so off we went to get some.  The girls were so excited...it was a great ending to a very fun day.

The week before school starts, we decided to go back to the zoo again so here are pics from our next trip....

Sharing

The girls are in the same room for the first time.  They are too cute together...they are true sisters.  One minute they are fighting and the next they are playing together...but they are always there for each other.  I LOVE that they are friends and this is one of my favorite pictures EVER!!!

they don't share a bed but they were hanging out in Kenz's together

6 Years

Sariah is SIX!!! Oh my gosh, I cannot believe that it has been six years since I sat in the hospital completely unprepared to have a baby.  It was a very scary experience but incredibly worth it.  She was perfect in every way.  We are blessed to have her as part of our family.
Grandma Livingston helped us with our move to TX so she was here the end of June.  She gave Sariah her presents before leaving so Sariah got to celebrate twice.

I absolutely love her face in this picture...pure happiness!!!
 Barbie movies = Happy girl
Sariah waited patiently for Jake to get home from work on her birthday.  We got to go out to dinner and then come home and open her presents and eat cake.  She had a GREAT birthday!
Such a cutie
Sariah picked out this puppy cake...my girls love everything and anything to do with puppies!

Arizona Summer Fun

Once Jake graduated, we only have about a week and a half to have fun in Arizona before the big move.  Sariah of course wanted to see all her friends and spend as much time with Grandpa and Grandma.  Here are a few pics that we took of the fun...
