Beautiful

I just had to share this picture with everyone. I know that I am biased but I have to say that my daughter is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. She is such a joy and I feel blessed to be her mother. She has grown up so much and is going to be a wonderful big sister.

COUSINS

Sariah got to see alot of her cousins this summer. Josh and Sarah came into town during June and we were able to get the three Carroll cousins together and let them play. They were really cute together and got along really well considering the age differences between them. Brynnlie, Jace, Sariah

Sariah and I were also able to go to Utah with my mom for a family reunion in June. Sariah and Grace were able to spend lots of time together. They are cute to watch grow up. Even though they live far away from each other, they are always excited to see each other. They both experinced their first cousin sleepover. Despite the late night, they were both pretty good (especially considering their age). In the morning, they watched and danced to Imagination Movers.

Sariah and Grace wanted to match and Sariah wanted her hair exactly like Gracie's. They had a great time playing together and Sariah can't wait to see again soon.

BLOG UPDATE OVERLOAD

I figured now that I am on bedrest, I have no excuse not to update the blog. There are several posts so you will need to scroll down this whole page to see them all. I will continue to catch up with all our summer fun over the next couple days so check back often.

Now as to why I am on bedrest...well this past weekend, my blood pressure spiked. I have small traces of protein in my urine so I am to stay down to prolong having this baby. I received my second steroid shot today which will help the baby's lung develop faster. I am being closely monitored to make sure that nothing goes wrong. I will have two appointments per week to monitor the baby and see the doctor. I will keep you updated as anything changes.

Cerreta's and Peter Piper

This summer we have tried to stay busy and cool which is not super easy in Arizona. Megan and I took the kids to Cerreta's Chocolate Factory for a tour and then made a chocolate pizza. Sariah loved it (mostly the eating, not so much the making part).

When we got home, Jake and I took Sariah to Peter Piper Pizza for their lunch buffet. A little boy won a strawberry shortcake doll and was nice enough to give it to Sariah. She LOVES it!!! She took it for a ride on the merry-go-round and was so happy.

Summer Birthday Fun

Jacob celebrated his birthday in June and Sariah loved helping him open his presents.

Later that evening, we had cake and ice cream with the Armstrongs. I hope you had a wonderful birthday Jake!!!

We get to celebrate with more cake again in July for Sariah's birthday. I cannot believe that my little girl is already three-years-old! She is getting so grown up. We celebrated her birthday a couple days late because of Jacob's board test. The added bonus to that is that we got to celebrate with Grandpa and Grandma Livingston in San Diego. Sariah had a great birthday this year!!! It all centered around princesses...princess presents and princess cake. Then after our trip to San Diego, we got together with Grandma Carroll, Aunt Kendra and Brynnlie to celebrate with pizza and cake. It was like the birthday that never ended!!!

Memorial Breakfast

Jacob's extended family gets together for a breakfast on Memorial Day and we did again this year after a couple year break from doing it. The food is great and then we have a big water fight. It is always lots of fun. This is the first one that Sariah has gone to and it was fun to watch her play with the water balloons. Her two favorite parts were playing with her cousin, Brynnlie and helping Daddy with the water balloon launcher.

Super HAPPY girl!!!

Cute Cousins

Daddy's BIG helper!!! :)

Little Fish

Sariah absolutely LOVES swimming! She would spend everyday, all day in the pool if she could (unless it is a public, crowded pool). She has been spoiled being able to swim in her grandparents pool and is too timid if lots of people are around. She has been learning lots this summer and getting to be a really good swimmer. She can monkey crawl the wall, blow bubbles in the water, hold her breath, and swim from the step to us. Hopefully she will be floaty-free next summer!!!
