Last week Jake had an interview for USC Dental School in Los Angeles so while we were there we decided to take advantage of his Spring Break and go to Disneyland. We got two-day passes and had TONS of fun. My parents watched Sariah for us so that we could ride all the big rides and have some time to ourselves. This is the first REAL vacation we have gone on since our honeymoon so it was really nice to get away. This is apparently the time of year to go because it was not at all crowded. The longest we ever waited for a ride was 20 minutes and we went on most the rides multiple times. I have to agree that Disneyland is (one of) the HAPPIEST place(s) on earth. It makes you happy just being there. I felt bad for Jake because he had the start of a cold but he still made the most of our time there and was always the first to say "UNO MAS". (translation---one more for the movie ShangHai Noon.)
Of course, we also went to California Adventure since Jake had never been. We were crazy and went on the Grizzly Run which is a water ride. Well, we got SOAKED!!!! So...we walked all the way back to the car and changed clothes so that we would not freeze since out jeans were totally wet. Since I did not have an extra shirt, I sported a sweatshirt for the rest of the day. Even though, we got wet, I still thought the ride was a BLAST. I cannot wait to go back and take Sariah...she will have SSSOOOO much FUN!!!!
HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!! After TONS of hard work and a few rejections, Jacob has been accepted to Midwestern University Dental School for Fall 2008!!!! We are very excited to be staying in Arizona although it will be on the other side of Phoenix. I will have to adjust to not being so close to my parents but it will be good to see them on weekends. We will not be moving over to Glendale area until closer to when schools starts in August so that Jacob can continue working on his Master's Degree at ASU. He will finish this summer (just in time to start school again.)
