Sariah's Preschool Graduation

I am somewhat behind in my blogging but am going to attempt to get caught up over the next couple weeks.

Sariah graduated from preschool back in May.  She was sad that it was over and spent the next several weeks asking when she would get to see Ms. Candace again.  She loved everything about preschool but especially "art/craft" time.  Here are some pics from her big day....

Afterwards, she got a few little congratulations gifts...here she is loving them...
And a few more pics because it is my blog and I can add as many pictures of my ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE little girl (who isn't so little anymore) as I want...

And lastly, a cute little song...they sang this at the preschool graduation and all the kids sang so quietly that you couldn't hear it at all.  So I made her do it again...

Mikenzli

Kenzli is my happy, happy child.  She loves to follow Sariah around and copy everything that she does.  One example...Sariah had a time-out in the time-out corner and Kenzli thought it looked like fun.  So as soon as Sariah was done in time-out, Kenzli put herself in time-out and thought it was the funniest thing ever.

She also got goodies for Valentine's Day but she was into posing more than showing off what she got.
Poor Kenzli had her first throwing up experience and she was sick for a couple days.  The only nice thing about sick babies is how snuggling they are.  We spent LOTS of time together and luckily no one else in the family caught the bug.
She LOVES food.  She also likes to feel like a big girl and be able to carry her snack around in a little cup like sister.  She would snack ALL DAY long if we let her...except then she doesn't get her meals so well.
She is our little Linus!!!  She LOVES to carry her blanket around with her everywhere she goes.  Unfortunately for her, she is not allowed to take it in stores with us for fear of losing it.
She has recently started wearing sunglasses...she is such a cutie!!!  Don't you agree?!
She had her first ride on a carousel at Peter Piper Pizza just like Sariah.  She loved it but we were a little afraid she would try to get off so we walked in circles with her...can you say dizzy!
NURSERY!!!  She is not a big fan but is fine if I am in there with her.  She does like to play and I think she would do better if we had a different church time.  1-4 makes it a little hard!  She is pretty tired.  I am a nursery worker so I got to take pictures of her in nursery...enjoying singing time and snack time...and I took one at home after church as well.

Kenzli is like Sariah in so many ways.  She also LOVES to wear bracelets...she puts them on, takes them off and then puts them all back on again.

Kenzli LOVES babies...I am hoping that she continues to play with dolls because Sariah grew out of that pretty quickly.
She is also a monkey.  She climbs onto the chairs and even onto my scrapbook table like Sariah did.  But she hasn't figured out how to get down, so she is stuck once she is up.
We call her our sour patch kid.  If she gets in trouble, she has the biggest sad/mad face but then she smiles at you like it is funny.  We tried outr hardest to capture the face on camera...this is the best we could get.
She has started to feed herself...which I am not good at letting her do when it is something messy but I try.  One of her favorite things is easy mac...she has to have it for dinner though so she can go straight to the tub when she is done.
Now we are just waiting for her to figure out talking.  She understands everything and will shake her head to give us a yes or no answer.  She will repeat some words like mom (ma), dad (da), Riah (iah), amen (men), yes (sss)...but she doesn't ever just say it on her own.  Hopefully soon!!!

Sariah

Since it has been FOREVER since updating the blog...I figured I would just update each child individually and then work on the bigger events.  Sariah is loving life!  She has the BEST imagination and can play for hours.  Her favorite present from christmas was her Ariel doll.  Poor Ariel lost her arm though so we are hoping the Disney store will have her again later this year.  If she is watching TV, you can guarantee she has several friends with her.

One of her favorite things is coloring.  She spends hours everyday coloring pictures, writing in her journal or doing a sticker book.  She is definently crafty!!!

She also likes to make a "boat" and play with all her friends...seriously the imagination the girl has keeps her occupied for HOURS!!!
Sariah got to have a little Valentine's party with her friends.  They exchanged Valentines and decorated cupcakes.  It was a lot of fun for the kids and also for us Moms to have some time to chat and catch up.
Of course, she also got some Valentine's goodies from us...here she is showing off her goods.
Sariah is still her Papa's girl...she asks almost every weekend if we are going to their house.  She loves for him to play with her, tell her stories and take her for rides in his truck.  They have the best relationship!
She still LOVES her ponies.  One good thing about Sariah is that she plays with ALL her toys.  She goes through stages but all of her toys get their fair share of attention.  It is nice that I don't feel like we have wasted money. :)
I cannot believe how big Sariah is getting.  I know everyone says this, but I really feel like it was just yesterday that she was a 4 pound 3 ounce baby being brough home from the hospital...time sure does fly.  She can be a challenge but she also has the cutest, most fun personality.  She is also absolutely adorable.  We are gonna have to fight the boys off with a stick!!!!

Family of 5

Sariah has been wanting a dog CONSTANTLY.  Unfortunately, it is not a option for lots of reason.  So we tried to satisfy her need for a pet with a fish.  She absolutely LOVES "Bluey".  She gives kisses and hugs to the bowl multiple times per day and can't wait to feed him each morning and night.  She got to pick out what fish she wanted and she picked a beautiful Betta fish.
She picked out really pretty marbles for the bottom of the bowl.  We are gonna get a bigger bowl and add a plant for Bluey this week but we ran out of time on Saturday.  Here they are transfering the fish into his new home.

Christmas Dresses

It was impossible to get any pictures of my girls together with their matching dresses. We were lucky to get any of Kenzli...she was not in the mood to cooperate.
But she gets away with being a stinker, because she is so dang cute!!!
Sariah on the other hand, was totally cooperative and would have let me take 100 more pictures as long as she got to pose.
Seriously...she is such a ham!
She loved her Christmas dress!!!

Trains!

There is a really cool railroad park up in Scottsdale and every year they decorate it for Christmas. This year, we went with some friends on opening night. It was lots of fun. They have a big room with a whole little village set up with train tracks going through it. You can walk through inside and see it all. It really is incredible. You can also see it through the window. Sariah loved watching the trains go by as we waited in line to ride the actual tree through the lights display.
On the train...ready to go!
Sariah absolutely loves riding carousels...luckily there was not a long line to ride.
On opening night, they have lots of characters there...she loved Elmo and Cookie Monster!!!
My good friend Julie is the one who invited us to go ... we had gone last year but opening night is so much more fun!!!
